Eyebrow trimming tips
Bought this to replace an old Norelco that did an awesome job, but was no longer made. I broke it sadly.At first, I thought the eyebrow trimmer protectors were flawed. It was barely cutting any eyebrow hair at all. I realized that I was holding it wrong- you do NOT use the âflat bottomâ part against your eyebrow (basically, you donât want the âon buttonâ facing eyebrow when trimming). Rotate the trimmer in your hand so the SIDE of the triangular protector goes along your eyebrow, and itâll trim perfectly. I included a picture to show what âsideâ to use.I saw a lot of reviews saying it wouldnât trim eyebrows, but I bet everyone did what I did and used the big flat part of the protector (the part that faces same side as on button), which is incorrect. Use the side of the triangle protector and itâll work flawlessly!

Just ok – Past Norelco models are better
It works alright, but has a hard time getting a close-trim. Typically takes several passes to actually trim the hair in question, and even then I’d say there is usually some stubble left over. Previous models I’ve had would trim almost all the way down to the skin, so I end up having to use this one more frequently.Ultimately, it’s just OK.

I love Norelco products. I’ve bought their shavers for years. I had a great Panasonic nose hair trimmer, which finally died. I bought this Norelco 3 in 1 trimmer. The small trimmer head works great for sideburns and I imagine would be excellent for a mustache or a beard. I’ve never used an eyebrow trimmer. This one was easy to use and I wasn’t concerned about shaving the eyebrows completely off.Using the nose (and apparently ear hair trimmer), was completely pain-free and it did the job. Each piece is very easy to clean and it all packs up in a small bag. Just a single AA battery is required and it came with a Phillips alkaline battery.My only complaint is noise. The Panasonic was super quiet and could be used discreetly. This Norelco sounds like what I would think a tiny barber’s trimmer would sound like. However, it does a lot more than the Panasonic, so not a true comparison.I think it was a really good value and I’ve found that Phillips products tend to last.
