Just buy it
I had the smaller one with a single AA battery. This motor has twice the power, and it seems to vacuum up the hair as it goes. It is worth the extra money.More details: it seems like with the smaller one I had to fight to cut the small ear fuzz. This one just makes it disappear. Also, if you are upgrading like me, please read the instructions. This one has a three piece head, not the two pieces in the smaller one. If I hadnât looked at the quick instructions, I would have missed the difference. Also, this is significantly bigger, heavier, and louder. But worth it.

Great powerful nose hair trimmer
I have had many nose hair trimmers in the past, electric and manual. This one runs smoother and is more powerful than all the others (well perhaps not as powerful as a manual trimmer – but does a better job!). Is very efficient and vacuum feature is good and avoids additional clean up (keeps wife/partner happy at least). I think the price is reasonable for a quality item that should last for a decent time. Some of the other electric nose trimmers I have brought over the years May work ok to start with but do not last long – and none of them do as good a job – that is one reason I turned to manual trimmers which work reasonably but are less convenient and can pull at hairs. This one is very pleasant and comfortable to use and easy to clean. Would have been nice if it came with a bag/storage case like some others (I have used one from an old trimmer which no longer works). One other feature which it is missing is eyebrow trimmers – which would be nice but not the main reason I brought this trimmer.

sounds terrible but trims like a dream
This thing uses regular batteries, not built-in rechargeable batteries. It’s a lot safer and more pleasant to use than a pair of scissors for nose hair, produces a light vacuum when running to suck out all the cut hair from the nostril and has a mesh inside that catches the hair. The cutting head can also fully be disassembled down to the blades for sanitizing and cleaning. There is also a rinse hole in the cutting head that can be used to flush out the mesh filter by running the tap on it. However, it sounds terrible; always sounds like there’s sand caught in the cutting head blades even when disassembled, cleaned, dried, lubricated with oil and reassembled. This is a high-value device but not a luxury device. It does its job well, is easy to keep clean, has replaceable batteries, is safe to use and definitely worth the money.

Reliable and effective
I’ve a number of nose trimmers, including two from Panasonic (including this one). The main critiques range from not lasting very long (the $17 Panasonic), being too harsh, and not being effective at all (Manscaping). If there’s one issue with each: very low power.This trimmer from Panasonic has a much more efficient motor, and yields smooth results. Yes, it’s nearly twice as expensive as the competition, but it works faster and better.

at first it feels a little bare bones at this price point, being that it doesn’t come with a case or extra accessories or batteries or anything, just a small brush to clean it with, that said there is a lot to like about this trimmer. The fact that it has a little vacuum compartment that sucks up most of the hair is awesome, it’s also super easy to clean out, it’s easy to remove the blade if you end up needing to replace it with a new one, it’s also easy to open the vacuum compartment when needed, (though it takes a bit of finger dexterity), and because it’s washable you can just rinse the inside of the blade area/vaccuum area out with water which is also awesome, in my use with this item I found that it did a really good job of allowing me to pinpoint the specific hairs I wanted to remove, and overall think this is a great item for fine detail shaving work, its awesome for nose hair, but it also works for eyebrows and touch up around the beard and so on. Good purchase overall, especially now that rechargeable AAA batteries are pretty common place, there’s no real downside to this item.

Defective Product
My old ER430 lasted me for many years. I then tried the bullet shaped manual nose trimmer but the experience wasnât so pleasant. I could just go back to my old ER430 model but decided why not try this newer model that was built with more âpowerfulâ motor, so I ordered this trimmer on Oct 10th 2023. It turned out to be the worst shopping decision I made for year 2023.Pros: noneCons:1) The trimmer stopped working after 3 months, or more precisely, after 4 uses. On my fourth trim, I noticed that this trimmer consumed way too much power because the two new AAA batteries that I put in since first trim had already gone out juice and I had to replace them. But just this morning when I tried to trim for the fifth time, the trimmer itself was completely dead and would not turn on after I replaced the batteries.2) Itâs advertised âpower motorâ seemed like a scam; I could barely notice any performance difference compare to my old ER430 model. In fact, I noticed the trim would lose significant spin power after couple minutes. No clue whatsoever.3) That vortex system intended to flush out all the hair build-up was useless as well; I still had to take out the trim head to clean thoroughly after each use because there always some residuals.Iâm pretty sure at this point that I had received a defective unit because how in the world this garbo can receive 4.5 star rating. Itâs pretty annoying to go through their warranty process. I wish this could have dead during the very first month so I could just return it.

It’s fantastic. I though I would only be using it as a nose hair trimmer but the head shape and blade sharpness is so versatile, I use it to touch up the chin area of my beard, above and middle of the eyebrows, and of course, nose and ear hair.Fantastic product and looks and feels like the premium you pay for it. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a higher end trimmer.
