LOVE this lipstick
Packaging is good – looks expensive and sleek.The lipstick applies well and is very creamy and does not feel sticky or tacky on the lips. It has a very light and pleasant fragrance which I’m fine with as some lipsticks tend to have an overpowering and off-putting smell.I like this lipstick so much that I may even consider purchasing some other shades.I personally recommend this product – it’s a win for me.

Glides on so smoothly
I love how this lipstick glides on so smoothly. Itâs not dry/matte or glossy. Itâs something in between. I have not found it to be super long-lasting, but it stays on long enough before I have to re-apply. I have very pale skin and the âdope taupeâ (which is kind of dark) looks really good. I love this lipstick!

Highly moisturizing great matte color
Great color but more orange than pink as on the site, wears off rather quickly but very moisturizing.

Red Rover , Red Rover…send beautiful colors right over…
But this one missed the mark. I love to see that there is black owned company and a company that is intent on designing colors for black and women of color. This color was advertised to be a “Deep” and by it’s own description states a “matte lipstick has a deep berry red color with a blackberry undertone.” I didn’t find that to be true. It was a bright red, cool toned, and not complimentary to my skin complexion. Might work for someone else but not me. It also did not withstand the “waterproof test”. I will be returning this one but was grateful to find colors that were incredibly flattering from this line. I will post on those (i.e. Baby Brown gloss and Dark Night semi-matte).

So pretty and natural
This beautiful shade of lipstick is perfect for me. It is the perfect balance of pink and brown, making it a superb color for me. It is nice and smooth in texture and makes my lips look and feel nourished and moisturized. This color (Mented #5) is going to be my staple/go-to color going forward.
