I have Black long fine hair. I bought this on a whim to tame my fly aways along with moisturizing my hair. I put it on my sides, top & underside of my hair when styling. I do brush it in as im styling my hair. I love this product & it leaves no cast on my hair. If I do not brush it in I get a white cast. To do my hair I apply the product first ( top , sides underside) then brush my top , sides & underside of my hair into my desired top knot or messy bun . I do this prior to using this wax so itdoesn’t bother me at all & distributes the wax thoroughly with no cast. There is no fragrance , it does exactly what it says it will do & it washes out easily from my hair. My thyroid had recently been fluctuating so I’ve had breakage & shedding & this has really helped smooth my hair. A little really does go along ways. I love that the applicator is not plastic , it is easy to apply . This also has added moisturizing quality to my hair. I do use a clarifying shampoo once a week on my hair prior to using this product so i have no issues with residue or build up what so ever . I have purchased a second one I like it that much. It’s a staple in my hair products now & one application lasts me a couple days until I wash it out. I recommend this product & will purchase again. Shipping was as expected.

White residue extremely visible:-/ do not recommend
I bought this for my tween daughterâs hair to style it up in a ponytail. I apply the wax stick myself to her hair and the wax leaves white residue (wax pieces) on her hair that are not easy to get ride of. I run a comb over the white pieces and it just spreads it further out. I keep combing it until the bigger pieces come out, but not all of it comes out. The end result makes her hair look dirty⦠it looks ashy with white specks visible. When she takes her hair down to brush it out, her hair looks like bits of flour was sprinkled over her head. Washing out the wax from her hair takes 3-4 shampoo scrubs to make her hair feel clean and not feel greasy. And, I donât apply a lot of wax to her hair. The only positive thing is that it actually keeps ALL flyaways down. I would not buy this again nor would I recommend it.

Great Little Idea
Great little stick! Easy to hold, easy to apply where needed. Sometimes I just push it up and rub my fingers on it then apply to those fine baby hairs around my temples. I found out the hard way you do not need too much of this product for it to work! A little goes a long way. I no longer have those wings or devil horns, lol!

It’s ok if you like wax in your hair
I was so excited to try this because I have very frizzy hair and live in a high humidity area. It’s hot too so I wear my hair up a lot in the summer. I will say this seems to help but it leaves traces of wax in your hair. You can blend it in but it doesn’t say you need to do that in the ads I’ve seen. I expect things to work as advertised and this doesn’t quite live up to it’s promises.

Pros: keeps fly-aways down when wearing hair up. Fragrance free. Can apply with different pressures to achieve different levels of hold.Cons: makes hair look a little greasy the next day if not washing right away.

Disappointing product
as someone who wears a slick back look often, I wanted to give this product a whirl as the price point was good and I’ve used other products by Kitsch and liked them. This product left white streaks in my hair, did not go on smoothly, and I found the process for pushing up new product to be clonky.if you’re looking for a best in class slick stick, R+Co is worth the $25 bucks. Great product, goes on so smooth and streak free, and simple turn wheel crank like a chapstick.

Do not apply straight to hair
I have thick hair razored short, to get texture and hold I use wax. This product is not very greasy, does not smell. It is pretty soft compared too many waxes I have tried but do not apply straight to hair. You need put it a dollop on your hands and rub it til it warms and then mix it in your hair. If you put it straight on your hair it leaves clumps. Low shine. For the price 5/5. I have tried other waxes that are a tad bit softer, but more than double the price. I am not a huge fan of the pop up pushing of the wax, but I do like that it is cardboard and not some plastic to toss later when done.
